Good win for Liverpool last night. Don't get carried away as Villa had many first team players missing but Liverpool were without Gerrard, Carragher and Torres. Maybe the secret of a good team performance is to not make a few freel they are better than everyone else......although all three are valuable assets.

It's another beautiful day on the Costa Blanca and I'm looking after the little people. The place looks like a bomb's hit it and the in-between people have gone off to the market in Altea. One of the little people is doing her homework. To be fair she is now 8 years old and she has her Castellano, Basque, English and Maths to do whilst she is here visiting. This is Chloe and her younger brother's mission in life is to visit the Costa Blanca and wreak havoc everywhere in general and in our house in particular. He has the cat to terrorise and various low lying objects he can get his hands on but the object of the exercise is for me to keep him occupied. This is fair enough. Life's not much fun when you're just 2 feet one. Let's get the weather forecast. We have various amber alerts around Spain but I think we should be fine....
