The weather has been very strange and it would seem to be affecting the electrical equipment in the studio and a massive electric storm on Sunday evening didn't really help. We have mountain to sea sunshine with a wonderful definition on the mountains and beautiful blue sea. The world really does look a different place. Butterflies are now beginning to appear and I am trying to remember which month of last year we had the major butterfly fly past. It went on for days ansd this location is obviously on their flight path. They came in thousands and were a novelty for our cat for the first few days.The novelty eventually wore off and he went back to chasing birds. Sadly to say he catches too many. We've had words but he's like the kids. He just ignores what we say. I've threatened him with a visit to0 the cattery. He's already had his testicles pruned and we cut down his treats but NO. He still wants to catch birds. I think it gives him street cred! Well, let´s get the all important
...There´s a new blog and a new podcast. I hope you find them interesting. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Fallas in Valencia were amazing. I´ve been before but not quite in the same way. We got to the outskirts of Valencia, parked, and came in to the centre on the Metro.The metro is a fantastic network in whatever city one is built and this is no exception tunneling deep into the ground below the city. The trains were jam packed and we had a laugh thinking of the efforts of health and Safety officials. How nobody gets killed is a mystery. We had to change once during this part of the trip and then from the second train we climbed about 200 steps to get back to ground level. The streets were already choc-a-bloc by 10.30 with people heading towards the 2pm Mezclata. This, if you like, is a rather long and loud series of explosions!
